MOS (or military occupational specialty code) in the US Army is 31B. The 31-series MOS includes law enforcement jobs such as deputies, criminal investigators, probation officers, and service dog handlers.
Training for Army Military Police (MOS 31B) is a combination of Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), lasting a total of 20 weeks. You will train at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Paratroopers of the 503rd Military Police Battalion (Airborne), 16th Military Police Brigade, Ryan Beaulieu partnered with the Make Wish Foundation to give Military Police a taste of life.
Military police wanted to meet a boy like Beaulieu, with his courage and eagerness to learn.
Staff Sergeant Franklin Moore of Mayodan, North Carolina said, “I’m proud to make the dream of a happier child come true at any time.” Moore is the 503rd Military Police Brigade (Airborne) Noncommissioned Officer of the Year in 2009, and Beaulieu and his family are soldiers on their way to the brigade.
Shortly after arriving, Beaulieu Garrison climbed into the driver’s seat of the patrol car and activated the vehicle’s sirens, lights and loudspeaker. Moore, a military police detective, helped Beaulieu and other soldiers work on the vehicle’s features, explaining how they keep families safe at Fort Bragg.

A military service dog and human handler demonstrated that as a team they find drugs and apprehend suspects. Sfc. James Bokelmann, the military working dog handler at Fort Bragg, helped Beaulieu understand how a military working dog and handler can work together and take advantage of each other’s unique skills. He presented Beaulieu with trading cards featuring Military Working Dogs and Military Police Equipment.
“I feel good doing it,” said Sgt. Kevin Miller, a team leader with the 65th Military Police Company and from Kalispell, Montana. After briefing Beaulieu and her mother on the vehicle’s capabilities, Miller and the military police boarded the armored vehicle.
Moore then took Beaulieu to the 16th Military Police Brigade memorial outside the brigade’s headquarters. Moore described to him the bravery and courage of many of the Partners whose names were inscribed on the monument.
At a ceremony held at the 503rd Military Police Battalion (Airborne) Hall of Heroes, Beaulieu was made an honorary member of the battalion by the unit’s executive officer, Maj. Jeffrey Searle. A native of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Searle later presented Beaulieu with a battalion uniform and other items to show his Military Police pride.
